What's a Flute?
The flute is a musical instrument of the woodwind family. Unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute is an aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening. According to the instrument classification of Hornbostel-Sachs, flutes are categorized as Edge - blown aerophones .
A musician who plays the flute can be referred to as a flute player, a flutist, or less commonly a fluter.
Flutes are the earliest known musical instruments. A number of flutes dating to about 40,000 to 35,000 years ago have been found in the Swabian Alb region of Germany. These flutes demonstrate that a developed musical tradition existed from the earliest period of modern human presence in Europe.

Definition of the word MUSIC

What is MUSIC? (we may encounter and/or ask ourself this question)
It simply is a "LANGUAGE" in other words "A WAY OF COMMUNICATION"!

Birds, for example, communicate by singing!

Whales communicate by singing in ULTRA-SOUND (sounds we humans cannot hear without special equipments dedicated to ULTRA-SOUND hearing).

We, humans, use different tones of voice to express ourselves and/or feelings, according to the situation, same thing in music, where a melody can carry a joyful meaning, sad or even an aggressive one!!!

In general, music is everywhere in our life!!!

Thanks for your attention,

With my compliments and respect... :)))
